Ingredients For 1 Okonomiyaki Batter 50g Plain Flour, Self-Raising Flour or Okonomiyaki Flour 60ml Water 1 cup Minced Cabbage Pinch of Salt 1 Egg Topping of your choice Okonomiyaki Sauce Mayonnaise Aonori Seaweed Katsuobushi Shavings 1. Mix all the ingredients in to create the Okonomiyaki batter. 2. Put the frying pan on medium heat and oil generously. 3. Once the frying pan is well heated place the batter on the pan and spread evenly. 4. Remember the pan has to be hot enough for the batter to sizzle. 5. Place the topping on the batter and grill for 5 minutes. 6. Once the bottom of the batter is sturdy flip the Okonomiyaki. 7. Grill for 8 minutes and flip the Okonomiyaki again. 8. Dress the Okonomiyaki with Okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, aonori seaweed and katsuobushi shavings. 9. Serve hot.
