Sawatdee Writes: Sawatdee began in 1983 as the first Thai restaurant in the five-state area. Minnesotans were intrigued by the sweet, sour, bitter and salty taste combinations found in authentic Thai cooking. Over twenty one years and seven locations later, Sawatdee has become a twin cities favorite. Each location offers slightly different menus to reflect the preferences of people in each area.
