Tortilla Cafe writes: Canales Deli, located inside Historic Capitol Hill was established in 1983. After running a successful business for 28 years, Mr. Canales saw an opportunity to establish Tortilla Café. When the location on 210 7th Street came up for lease, Mr. Canales took a chance of establishing another successful business. Tortilla Café would offer real authentic ethnic Latin American cuisine from El Salvador, Mr. Canales’s country of origin, and Mexico, creating his own distinctive dishes.
